Amit Aggarwal

Amit Aggarwal was one of Effectual’s Co-Founder and the driving force behind key initiatives.

Amit had extensive IP experience, having worked with leading MNCs and regional corporations on patent strategy, business planning, operations, patent infringement, prior art searches, patent litigation and enforcement support services, before he went on to found Effectual.

Amit held a Law Degree, a Masters Degree in management and Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He had also undergone extensive training in patent law under US and European patent attorneys and had received certifications from organizations like WIPO, GIIP, IP Central, Lee & Hayes, and Microsoft.

He is deeply missed at Effectual, and his vision continues to drive the company forward.

Dr Amit Goel

Dr Amit Goel is Director, Effectual Services, one of the India's fastest-growing patent and trademark consulting firm. Dr Amit manages and supervises different practice groups at the firm and leads a team of 250+ professionals involved in patent/ trademark strategies, IP assets monetization, patent litigation and technology scouting. He has been providing IP asset management, technology research and strategy solutions to Fortune 500 companies in diverse technical domains.

Dr Amit has 18 years of international legal experience across IP services. He has worked with global companies ranging from multinational corporations, universities, start-ups and others. He has advised them on the development of their IP portfolios, acquisition of assets, patent licensing and patent portfolio management. He has also counselled on issues pertaining to M&A’s, valuation of intellectual property, licensing and assessment of technological breakthroughs.

Meetika Aggarwal

Director

Meetika has an overall experience of 18+ years in which she has worked with 500 Fortune companies, assisting US Patent Attorneys and agents of IT Major in patent prosecution and infringement analysis. She has been Team Lead and Senior Patent Analyst for some major projects. She has extensive experience in Client Communication and Relationship Development, Project and People management, Infringement and Invalidity Analysis, Quality Check of deliverables, Project Skills Training, mentoring fresh recruits, Staffing & Recruitment. She has also received Expert Certification on Filing and Obtaining Trademark in India, 2014 and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva Certification Course on Intellectual Property Rights in 2006

She holds a Master's degree in Information Technology in addition to Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. She is also well versed in Patent and Trademarks laws (US, EP, India) and has trained with professionals from Microsoft, Wipo.

Nishant Singh

Vice President

Nishant is a leading expert in the intellectual property space and has been a strategy advisor to clients around the globe. He has extensive experience in the technology scouting, patenting strategy, IP life cycle management and business/ market research domain and has worked with leading multi-national and regional corporations on patent and R&D strategy, innovation foundation, business planning, operations, patent infringement, prior art searches, patent litigation and enforcement support services.

He has also helped in creating web based platforms for use in patent licensing portfolio management, patent analytics and dashboards.

Nishant holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from Delhi University. He has worked in offices of leading law firms in the US and UK and has also undergone extensive training in patent law from US and European patent attorneys. He was also working in corporate strategy consulting role in the UK for two years managing large accounts across European region.

Ram Tenneti

Vice President

With more than 17 years of experience, Ram has led multicultural and international teams of 10 to 200 individuals. He has overseen more than 1200 projects with budgets ranging from $500K to $18.5M and has put in more than 8000 hours of training and presentation on a range of topics, including project management, creativity, and teamwork. Leading the company's strategic activities, he strives to develop plans grounded in data-driven research.

His passion lies in the skill of managing products and satisfying customers. He thrives on a combination of technical expertise, sales/marketing strategy discipline, and global business savvy. Ram enjoys the difficulties of forming new teams and carrying out strategic goals. He likes to communicate fundamental technological ideas to software development teams.

Along with consulting businesses on market possibilities and analysis, he enjoys conducting research on the shifting dynamics of the market. He holds a double masters in International business management from Nottingham, UK and an Engineering from JNTU, India with a specialisation in computer science and information technology.

When it comes to client relationship management, he is unmatched, with a primary focus on top and bottom line revenue. For over a decade, he has been an integral part of Effectual's management team, assisting numerous law firms and Fortune companies with their business needs. His skill in revenue generation, customer management, and creative problem-solving helps open up new revenue sources for the business.

Presales, sales, project acquisition, CRM management, account mapping, strategy/new account opening, key account management, team management, and business development strategies are some of the areas of expertise. Manoj Poonia

Vice President

Manoj has been consulting a variety of different clients on their technical and Intellectual Property related needs in the outsourcing industry for more than seventeen years. He has worked with a number of Fortune 100 companies, AmLaw 100 Law firms, Patent Brokers, and IP Monetization companies. His core expertise lies in delivering technology consulting, patent searching and analytics services such as invalidity searches, patent landscapes, infringement searches, claim charts, etc. He also has experience in leading support teams working on Trademark searching and other docketing and paralegal services.

By training he is an engineer from IIT Bombay and a lawyer from Delhi university. Being a lawyer himself, he is well versed with US, EP and Indian Laws, and has undergone a number of trainings from US and EP patent attorneys. His technical areas of expertise include petrochemicals, chemicals and materials, polymers, lightweight alloys used in automobiles and aerospace Industry.

Dr. Gerhard Hörsch

Gerhard holds a degree in both business administration and physics, and has held prominent positions with several top multinational corporations, including NOKIA in Finland, AEG in Germany, Thales in France, SAMTEL, and TOOLTECH in India. He has extensive expertise managing business development initiatives to acquire clients for our IP Design Centre in India from the automotive, general/industrial engineering, and law firms. Maintaining a tight relationship with our clients both during and after project completion is a crucial component within which – Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) are his forte.

Regarding law and patent research services, he has a wealth of knowledge in the IP and business research fields. Any type of patent search, including those for novelty, patentability, prior art, freedom to operate (FTO), landscape analysis, and support for patent infringements, are some among his strong suite.
